Well we've been back at it for over a week now since the crazy week of SEMA and the lights of Las Vegas. This is one year the crew won't soon forget. The crew came back to sickness, a surgery and a death in the family. We are overwhelmed with gratitude from all sorts of people excited about the news of the top awards.
A few cool things happened during SEMA week that was very special. I had a chance to spend some time with my favorite magazine editor growing up as a kid. Jeff Smith worked for the magazines that I couldn't wait to get in the mail and pour through again and again.
I spend some time talking shop with Jessie James. No matter what your opinion is, he was polite and very cordial to me and everyone that approached him with an iPhone wanting "that quick picture".
The week ended with special treat, a ride in a '32 Ford roadster down The Strip Friday night. Any '32 roadster would be a treat...but this was none other than Gray Baskerville's! What a joy. The car is full of history built from wrecking yard parts in the 50's. Thank you Jim Shelton for the ride!
